R&B favorite Brian McKnight returns to Cache Creek

BROOKS, Calif. – R&B artist Brian McKnight is a singer, songwriter, arranger, producer and one of the most prominent singers of his age group. He is also a multi-instrumentalist who plays the piano, guitar, and trumpet, and he’s lent these musical talents to 11 albums with seven of them turning platinum (some two or three times over). In an industry of constantly revolving players, McKnight has established quite a record and proven himself to be anything but a fluke through his many successes in the business, collaborating over the years with an array of different performers across all genres, including Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, Puffy, Christina Aguilera, Rascal Flats, Nelly, Vanessa Williams, Willie Nelson, and Kenny G.

Embracing an effortless eloquence and cocoa butter smooth persona, the music of Brian McKnight has defined the true meaning of the American “soul-man” since 1991. Like his spiritual Motown godfathers, this upstate New York native has a velvety voice and silky style that captures the vibe of vintage soul without being old fashioned.

The longevity of his career and his timeless appeal is a true testament to his talent. Selling 20 million albums since his self-titled debut; he still performs live and continues to deliver the goods, including a stop at Cache Creek Casino Resort’s Club 88 on Oct. 31 at 8 p.m. If his last sold-out appearance is any indication, fans of this multi-faceted entertainer may want to get their tickets quickly if they want to catch McKnight live this time around.
